1. Agreement
These Terms of Use govern access to WeLend websites, SME portals, and related online services operated from Egypt (together, the “Platform”). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms and to applicable Egyptian law. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
A financing facility, if offered, is a separate contract with WeLend and/or an assigned lender. These website Terms do not by themselves create a loan, credit line, or obligation to fund.
2. Who may use the Platform
The Platform is intended for businesses and authorised representatives operating in connection with Egypt. You must have legal capacity under Egyptian law and authority to bind the company you represent. You are responsible for the accuracy of registration, KYC, and onboarding information.
3. Accounts and acceptable use
Keep login credentials confidential. You must not misuse the Platform, attempt unauthorised access, disrupt services, submit false documents, or use the Platform for unlawful activity, including fraud or money laundering. WeLend may suspend or close access where reasonably necessary to protect users, lenders, or legal compliance.
4. Content and intellectual property
WeLend and its licensors own the Platform’s branding, software, and content, except for materials you lawfully upload. You grant WeLend a licence to use uploaded materials solely to operate, underwrite, service, and audit financing workflows. You must not copy, scrape, reverse engineer, or republish the Platform except as Egyptian law expressly allows.
5. No warranty; regulatory status
The Platform is provided as available. WeLend does not warrant uninterrupted access or that published materials are error-free. Nothing on the Platform is investment, legal, or tax advice.
WeLend is not a bank. Availability of products may depend on underwriting, lender appetite, and applicable Financial Regulatory Authority and other Egyptian regulatory requirements.
6. Liability
To the extent permitted by Egyptian law, WeLend is not liable for indirect or consequential loss (including lost profit or business interruption) arising from use of the Platform. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be limited under Egyptian law, including liability for fraud or wilful misconduct.
7. Changes and contact
WeLend may update these Terms. The updated version applies from the date published on this page. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance of the current Terms.
Questions: info@welend.credit.
8. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. The courts of Cairo have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer or other protections that Egyptian law may grant.

1. Who we are
WeLend is the data controller for personal data processed through welend.credit and the SME, lender, and related applications, unless a specific product agreement names another controller. Contact: info@welend.credit.
2. Egyptian data protection law
We process personal data in line with Egypt’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020 and its executive regulations, and other applicable Egyptian rules (including electronic signature, anti-money laundering, and tax e-invoicing obligations where they apply).
3. Data we collect
Depending on your use of the Platform, we may collect identity and contact details; company and beneficial-ownership information; login and security data; financing, invoice, bank-statement, and document evidence; device and usage logs; and communications with our team.
4. Why we use data
We use personal data to create and secure accounts, complete onboarding and KYC, underwrite and service financing, communicate with you, meet legal and regulatory duties, prevent fraud, and improve the Platform. Legal bases include your consent (including account signup), performance of a contract or pre-contract steps, legitimate interests that do not override your rights, and legal obligation.
5. Sharing
We may share data with assigned lenders and their processors, KYC/AML and e-invoicing providers, cloud and operations vendors acting on our instructions, professional advisers, and Egyptian authorities when required by law. We do not sell personal data.
6. Retention, security, and transfers
We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes above and for statutory retention (including finance and AML records). We use organisational and technical measures appropriate to the risk. If data is processed outside Egypt, we take steps required under Law 151/2020, including any licences or safeguards that apply.
7. Your rights
Subject to Egyptian law, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, or to withdraw consent where processing is consent-based. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent Egyptian data-protection authority. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out lawfully. Some services cannot continue without required data.
8. Cookies and updates
We use cookies and similar technologies needed to run the Platform and, where required, with your consent. We may update this Policy; the date above shows the current version. Continued use after publication means you acknowledge the updated Policy.
